Melody Generator using UM66

UM66

    The brain of this project is UM66, which has an On-Chip ROM programmed to produce musical notes. The UM66 consumes very little power and can be operated with just 1.3 V to 3.3 V DC power. It can be used in various applications, such as doorbells, telephones, toy applications, and alarms.

    Use the below circuit only when supplying the circuit below 3 Volt DC Power Supply.

 Use the circuit below when the input DC power supply exceeds 3 Volts. In the circuit below, the Zener diode has been used to protect the IC from overvoltage. Only the 3.1V Zener diode has to be used. The other way to protect the circuit is using a 3V Voltage regulator.
